Agency Description:

Triangle Foundation is Michigan's leading anti-violence, civil rights and advocacy organization working on behalf of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community. Triangle envisions a society characterized by a strong commitment to universal civil rights; safe communities, workplaces and schools; stable families; and self-reliant GLBT individuals. Triangle Foundation began in 1991 as an Anti-Violence Project and has grown during the ensuing years to include legislative advocacy, educational outreach, policy initiatives, and a wide range of community-building events to accomplish its mission. Triangle's anti-violence work remains at the core of its programming and it has become a nationally recognized leader in developing means and strategies to combat anti-GLBT violence, and to serve the needs of individual victims and survivors of violence and discrimination.
